Gilmoor vets is a dedicated small animal practice that puts dog and cat care at the top of our list. When you combine that with our passion for care, knowledgeable team and our excellent facilities you can be certain we will work to provide veterinary care as unique and individual as your pet.

Cats

We provide a separate cat waiting area at our Durham surgery and encourage cat owners to raise and cover their cat baskets to help them feel more secure. Our cat -only ward makes sure no cat feels scared or threatened. We are currently working to receive our “cat friendly practice” award from International Cat Care (formerly feline advisory bureau).

We have veterinary surgeons with special interests in general feline behaviour, advanced medical and surgical care, and veterinary diagnostics. Our nurses provide special cat friendly support. We can arrange in-house appointments for specialist level advanced imaging.
